On behalf of the organizing committee, we welcome you to save the date for the 12th Australasian Virology Society Meeting, to be held at RACV Goldfields (Creswick, Victoria) December 2nd-5th 2024.

Biennial AVS meetings bring together virologists from around Australasia to promote scientific exchange and collaboration in a relaxed atmosphere. We aim to cover diverse virology disciplines including molecular virology, systems virology, virus discovery, antiviral and vaccine development, clinical virology, Indigenous virology, structural virology, immunology and innate immunity. 

The meeting will feature keynote and invited presentations from leading international and national virologists. We also welcome and encourage submitted abstracts from students and early career researchers.

Abstracts, awards and registrations are now open! Please note, to be considered for an oral presentation, it is mandatory that you are also registered for the Conference by Friday 9th August 2024.
